Ecological issues
An overview
It is difficult to anticipate or measure the full ecological impact that the proposed Site C dam and its reservoir would have. Some of these negative consequences are far-reaching (i.e. having global repercussions) and/or long lasting (e.g. such as the destruction of endangered species habitat).

Ecological concerns are broken into four broad subsections: climate, erosion, fish, and endangered species. Each will continue to be added to, as we become aware of new information. PVEA advocates who have expertise or special interest in a topic have volunteered to host these website subsections where possible.
